William D. Nash’s fascination ![]() The origins of The Jupiter Factor Series go back to 1971, when Nash was in high school. Originally intended to be a short homemade movie script, the story grew and evolved over time but not without setbacks. Nash’s original final draft, loaned to a friend to get his opinion, disappeared—along with his so-called friend. Nash started a disc jockey business in 1981 and retired in 2013. When he told people he partied for a living, he meant it. Retirement and a fractured ankle brought The Jupiter Factor Series back into Nash’s life—well, that and his wife’s insistence that he do something other than play video games in his retirement years. The first book in the series, USA: Eliminated!, was released in August 2018. It’s about Ufologist Jack Slater discovering an abandoned alien base and a flying saucer. The first thing he does it take the saucer for a joyride. The second book, Conflict: Earth!, released in November 2019, continues his adventures as the governments of the world bickered over forming a united front against a pending alien invasion. The third and final book, Journey’s End, is due out, hopefully, in the fall of 2020. |
